Biography
Insali is a music group of artists, Innitso originally Innocent Dalitso Banda, Paul Dismas Kalingeme Busuma AKA Kalingeme , N.G.el originally Angel Muleka Phiri and Bongani Mtonga AKA FreshPak. Insali make music in the genres, Afro, Soul, Rnb, Jazz, and Hip-Hop with a blend of poetry and perform live sets
.
The name “Insali” originates from a Zulu word which translates to ‘Remnant’. The group adopted this name in order to stay true to their faith and also lead their audience in a sound and right direction. The group’s main aim is to act as a remnant for all Christ-like values and also give hope to every soul out there that is passing through a desperate situation. Insali also endeavors to preserve the original African sound in a contemporary way of delivering music by keeping the true African rhythm.
“We all have stories to tell and every day that passes we feel more prompted to share with the world our bitter and sweet moments and how Jesus has been our source of strength in all of them. It’s, for this reason, our music endeavors to reach out to the broken-hearted, the helpless, the hopeless and those perceived to be the least among men and telling them that Jesus can be a source of strength in their various situations.”
